Siren Sisters Kitchen is a women-owned catering studio and storefront in downtown Fairfax, founded by Dina Berkhout — a Palestinian Italian chef who spent years cooking on tall ships across the Atlantic, Pacific, and Great Lakes, provisioning in back-alley markets from Portugal to West Africa and collecting cookbooks along the way.
That spirit of adventure, abundance, and feeding people well is baked into everything we do. Menus draw from Mediterranean and Middle Eastern influences, grounded in California's seasonal best.
Our catering is visual and design-driven: layered florals, abundant grazing tables, family-style spreads that are as beautiful as they are delicious. Behind it all is a close-knit collective of women from diverse backgrounds; women from Guatemala, Peru, and the American Midwest, where hospitality isn't a selling point — it's just how you were raised.
Our cozy Fairfax storefront carries that same warmth — scratch-made soups, stews, grab-and-go meals, gorgeous platters, carry-out style catering, and small-batch provisions. We're here to help make any gathering feel effortless.

Dina Berkhout, Owner & Chef
SAILOR, WORLD TRAVELER, PALESTINIAN-ITALIAN-MIDWESTERN KINDA LADY WITH A QUICK WIT AND SHINY HAPPY DEMEANOR.
Dina has worked in restaurants, on islands, and ocean going tall ships throughout the Atlantic, Pacific, and Great Lakes. Her strong Mediterranean upbringing and international culinary adventures have nurtured an eclectic and colorful palette. Her fine art background and deep appreciation for native flora takes our presentation to the next level. She has a uniquely intuitive and creative approach to cooking that leaves no crumbs. From feeding hungry sailors and passengers to embracing the challenges of operating the historic East Brother Light Station, commitment to hospitality and culinary excellence has always been unwavering. She has settled in Fairfax with her 3 young children.
Carla
EXECUTIVE & PASTRY CHEF
Carla is our talented and devoted head chef & kitchen mama. She even went to cooking school and learned how to be a very fine pastry chef! She has worked in some of the best restaurants from Chicago to LA (We definitely see Carla put out some Michelin quality work). With her attention to detail and consistent nature, she maintains quality and drives standards up.
Gabriella
PREP CHEF & CUSTODIAN
Gabriella is from Peru and has been working with food for her whole life. Gabby is a nurturing mother of 4. She keeps our turnovers filled and our kitchen sparkling clean. She has been with us since day 1 and is an invaluable sister!

Estella is from Guatemala and is a loving mother and provider of 2. She has worked with some of the best bay area caterers and florists. She keeps our dips smooth, our our onions perfectly diced, and our flowers flowering. We can count on Estella to keep things moving, as she always anticipates the next steps.
Natalia
EVENT COORDINATOR
Natalia is a fun-loving, straight shootin’ Kansas native with a background in architecture & design, and a keen eye for detail. She runs her own event production company on the side, and serves as our in-house event planner and coordinator. She's likely your first point of contact — trust you're in good hands from the start.
