Classic Beef Stew
Tender beef chuck roast in a classic sauce made from a flour-butter roux with red wine, bone broth, herbs and tomato paste. We simmer carrots, onion, potato and peas until just tender and garnish with chopped parsley.
All soups and stews are sold by the 32oz quart and sold sometimes fresh, sometimes frozen (they are prepared on rotation). One quart serves 2 as a main dish or 3-4 as a side dish. To defrost, place entire quart in a pot of warm water until the sides loosen enough to empty contents into a sauce pan. Simmer on low, covered until heated through.
